On April 5th St. Thomas Aquinas Track & Field took part in the BCAA Championships at Dillard High School. Here is how the Raiders performed. 

In the girls’ 100m, Kelyse Jackson finished 4th with atime of 12.00.  In the 200, Maya Maycock-Beckles finished 2nd with a time of 25.20, while Shanell Morgan finished 10th with a time of 25.94. In the 400, Shanell Morgan finished 3rd in a time of 57.49. In the 800, Grace Finneran finished 2nd place with a time of 2:17.35. In the 1600, Grace Finneran finished 2nd with a time of 5:00.74, while Remy Coia finished 5:56.21. In the 3200, Remy Coia finished 9th with a time of 13:27.34. In the 100 hurdles, Arianna Allen finished 4th with a time of 14.59. In the 400 hurdles, Arianna Allen finished 2nd with a time of 1:00.68, while Ayanna Bryant finished 13th with a time of 1:15.03. In The 200m dash, Tavius Horne ran a time of 21.84, placing 2nd in the meet. In the 400m dash, Ashton Mitchell Ran a 50.86, placing 9th; and Gavin Dale Miller ran a 52.47, placing 14th. In the 800m Run, Christoper Adams came in first place with a time of 1:57.10. In the 1600m, Gustavo Perez ran a 4:45.61 and came in 11th place. In the 3200m run Marco Ristaino came in 3rd place with a time of 10:09.70. In the 400m hurdles, Tyler Blake came in 10th place with a time of 1:00.35. In the boys 4x100m relay, they came in 3rd place with a time of 42.00. In the boys 4x400m relay, they came in 5th with a time of 3:22.87. In the 4x800m relay, they placed 3rd with a time of 8:17.91. This led to a strong second place finish overall from the girls and a 4th place finish overall for the boys.
