As the graduating seniors of 2026 prepared to begin new chapters in their lives, Saint Thomas Aquinas celebrated their final farewell through the tradition of Senior Breakfast. On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the recent graduates were given the opportunity to return to their beloved school and attend a breakfast hosted by the faculty. This long-standing tradition allowed classmates to say their goodbyes and relive the lasting memories they had made at Saint Thomas before moving on to exciting new paths.

The Senior Breakfast was filled with nostalgia. Many students shared their favorite memories with faculty members and reflected on the experiences that had made the school such a special and familiar place. The room was filled with laughter and conversation until the Class of 2026 gathered to hear the announcement of the Senior Superlative Awards. Students cheered enthusiastically as Dr. Aloma proudly revealed the select group of seniors recognized for categories such as Best Smile and Life of the Party.

Another highlight of the tradition was the breakfast itself. Faculty members and Student Council worked together to arrange an assortment of delicious breakfast foods and coffee for the seniors to enjoy.  A student favorite was the Porfa coffee lattes. However, for many seniors, the most memorable part was enjoying their final Aloma cookie. Aloma cookies were a beloved Saint Thomas Aquinas staple and had become a symbol of the school’s community and tradition.

The Senior Breakfast served as a meaningful way to conclude the students’  time at Saint Thomas Aquinas. While graduation marked the official end of their high school careers, this tradition provided a more personal farewell. Both teachers and students were able to share a few special final moments together. The event was not just an ending but also a celebration of a new beginning.
