Students interested in business, marketing, and competition preparation are invited to attend DECA’s upcoming Doughnuts and Mock Role Plays event. This meeting is designed to help members practice role play scenarios commonly used in DECA competitions while also providing an opportunity for collaboration and preparation in a relaxed environment.
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 2:35 p.m. in the Innovation Center, Rooms 222–223. Students attending will participate in mock roleplay activities that simulate real DECA competition situations, allowing them to strengthen their presentation, communication, and problem solving skills.
Mock role plays are an important part of DECA competitions because they require students to respond to business related scenarios within a limited amount of time. During the event, participants will practice organizing ideas, presenting solutions, and receiving feedback from peers and advisors. The session is intended to help students become more confident and prepared for future competitive events.
In addition to the academic and leadership benefits, the event also provides an opportunity for students to connect with other DECA members in a more informal setting. Doughnuts and refreshments will be available, helping create an engaging and collaborative atmosphere for participants.
Students interested in attending can contact the DECA advisors listed on the flyer for more information. This event offers a useful opportunity for students to improve competition skills, gain experience in public speaking, and become more involved in DECA activities at STA.
