Senior year is in full swing, and the Class of 2025 has tons of events to look forward to!

To recap, a couple of senior events have already taken place. Seniors had Senior Sunrise, which took place on Fort Lauderdale Beach. This was on October 22nd, senior skip day, while lowerclassmen took the PSAT. Seniors watched the sunrise together, swam, took pictures, and hung out on the beach as a class. Seniors also had a special Thanksgiving mass to bless the food the grade donated.

Coming up in the second semester, there are many more senior events to look forward to. Michelle Summers says she is “super excited for the long-awaited trip to Grad Bash at Universal Studios.” Scheduled for February 12, it is one of the biggest senior traditions, with exclusive park access and all the best rides! Sara Chacon added that she is “looking forward to Senior Assassin,” a senior game where students try to eliminate other players using a water gun.

Looking ahead, prom is another exciting senior event in the second semester. On April 24, 2026 seniors will have the day off from school so that they can dance the night away! Many seniors are already thinking of outfits and plans. Viviana Garcia and Sara Lopez Mozota view prom as the “seniors’ last hurrah” and “cannot wait to find a perfect dress.”

After that comes Decision Day, May 1, when seniors wear their college sweatshirts, announcing where they’re headed after graduation. As schools return their decisions, students are already posting on the Raider Decisions social media page, sharing their future schools and majors.

Finally, seniors are looking forward to the shaving cream fight that occurs every year on the last day of school. This iconic STA tradition is a fun way to say goodbye to high school and create a memory that will last forever. Seniors can finally relax after Graduation Day, May 16, 2026, when they will turn their tassels, toss their caps and take on their future with arms wide open.
