Signing Day at STA!

On February 8, 2024, STA held their annual signing ceremony on campus. The purpose of Signing Day is for students to sign a National Letter of Intent to commit to an NCAA DI or DII institution. Students sign a binding letter to the college of their choice. This is a very special event at STA because it is extremely rewarding to watch student athletes reach the next step in their future.

STA senior, Bryan Wallace, signed this year with Southern University to play football. Wallace stated, “I’m most looking forward to the bigger and new opportunities that attending college for football will bring. My favorite part of signing day was the support and love I received from countless family members and friends. STA definitely got me prepared for the next level by helping me adapt around different people.”

In addition to Bryan Wallace, many students signed to their dream schools for sports such as football, volleyball, beach volleyball, swimming, and even rowing. We are so incredibly proud of our students and wish them the best of luck on their athletic and academic careers!
