There are many new countries that have qualified, which will be a good way to see what some of these countries have to offer. Along with the groups being revealed, the 72 group stage matches have also been announced. Only 32 of the 48 teams will qualify for the knockout stages. The strongest teams at the moment seem to be Spain, Portugal, France, England, Germany, and Argentina.
Spain has star players like Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Nico Williams, Rodri, and Dean Hujisean. They also have strong tactics and plays. Portugal have been in great form, with them recently winning the 2025 Nations League and also having great players like Christiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Diogo Costa. Lastly, the next highest favorite, France, has a very strong roster with players like Kylian Mbappe, Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola, Hugo Ekitike, Michael Olise, Rayan Cherki, William Saliba, Jules Kounde, and Mike Maignan. Even with this amazing squad, winning isn’t guaranteed because of their great competition.shown from their 4-5 loss to Spain in the Nations League this year.
With the United States being one of the hosts of the World Cup , Miami will be hosting matches at the Miami Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. This will be a fun experience for Floridians and other people coming down to watch the games. Miami will be hosting the following matches:

Freshman Mark Anikandrov gave his insight, saying “I believe that Spain will win the World Cup due to their strong team and good players that play in top leagues around the world.” He was also asked about how he feels about USA being a host for the tournament and said, “I don’t really like the idea of USA hosting it as it is located far from European countries making it hard for many spectators to physically watch the matches.”
