On Saturday, January 18, 2025 the NFL Divisional Round Started. In the first game the Houston Texans faced off versus the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.The three time Super Bowl champion quarterback, Patrick Mahomes faced off against the young second year quarterback, CJ Stroud. The Chiefs were heavily favored in this matchup with two of the top three Texans receivers going down to season ending injuries. In the first quarter the chiefs lead 6-3 only allowing a field goal. In the Second quarter the Texans scored another field goal and the Chiefs scored a touchdown to make the score 13-6 going into the half. In the second half the Chiefs scored 10 points to hold off the Texans who only scored eight with a final score of 23-14. The Kansas City Chiefs l advanced to the conference Championship where they will face off against the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium on January 26th, 2025.
