Ohio State had a highly anticipated spring game after numerous clips from their practice went viral; including freshman, and transfers losing their black stripe in just a few practices. Losing your black stripe at Ohio State welcomes you to the team and it shows that you’re ready to represent the Buckeyes. During spring practice many players earned their stripes and lost the black stripe. Jeremiah Smith was the fastest player to lose his black stripe in the history of the tradition.  

Ohio State has many impressive transfers whose fans have been interested in learning how they are fitting in. This particular Spring Game turned out to be one of the most widely viewed with over 80,000 in attendance. Ohio State is usually known for having a high powered offense but the defense had proved to be very strong with how close the game was.  

Quarterbacks for this game: Will Howard, Devin Brown, Lincoln Kienholz, Air Noland, and Julian Sayin.

Standout Players : Sam Williams-Dixon, Air Noland, Aaron Scott Jr, Eddrick Houston, Cj Hicks Inky Jones

CJ Hicks had eight tackles. Inky Jones had seven tackles, Aaron Scott, Sonny Styles, and Eddrick Houston had six tackles each. Throughout the full game the offense rushed for a total of 243 rushing yards and threw for 357 on 64 attempts, throwing one touchdown and four interceptions.
