As the school year comes to an end, students begin to prepare for the closing weeks to their 2025-2026 school year here at STA. These weeks are filled with “final” everything: final projects, final assignments, final Masses, final tests, and, of course, final exams. As this chapter begins to close, students start to prepare for new chapters. Freshmen are becoming sophomores, sophomores are becoming juniors, and juniors are getting ready for the pressure of the final year of high school: senior year.
While the underclassmen prepare for their final exams, the class of 2026 has already completed their high school journey. The seniors graduated on Saturday May 16th at Nova Southeastern University after spending their final day as STA students on Friday May 15th. Graduation marked the end of four years filled with new friendships, new memories, and accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom.

One of the most memorable moments from the ceremony involved the Varsity baseball team that was unable to attend in person due to qualifying for the state finals, which were on the same day. Even though they could not be there, STA still managed to include them and give them the recognition they deserved. A photo of the seniors on the team depicted them in their caps and gowns on the big screen during the ceremony. To make this moment even more special, the varsity team went on to win the state title for the second year in a row.
Seniors are now preparing for college and the next chapter of their lives after high school. Seniors recently had their Class of 2026 Alumni Breakfast and Awards ceremony in the STA gymnasium. While this might have been the last time they stepped on campus, it was a heartfelt event that showed their growth over the years while bringing everything to a full close.
As our school year comes to an end, many students begin to reflect on the past year. From football games and school events to late night studying and time spent with friends. The 2025-2026 school year created memories that the students will hold in their hearts for the rest of their lives. While many students are very excited for the summer break to begin, the end of year brings a feeling of nostalgia to some due to how fast the year went by. With over 150 full days of school we happen to have less than 10 days for summer break to officially begin giving us little time to reflect on the friendships, experiences, and memories that this school year has given us.
