Derek Brown is a sophomore who plays for the men’s volleyball team at St Thomas Aquinas High School. He started off his volleyball career at STA in his freshman year on the JV team. Since then he has progressed as a Center, contributing significantly to the success of the team. This year he has shown great improvement from last year, landing a spot on the varsity team. He reminds aspiring players, “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”
