The week started off on Thursday, December 4th with the Dallas Cowboys traveling to Detroit to play the Detroit Lions. The Lions won 44-30 with an impressive win against a red-hot Cowboys team. The Lions improve to 8-5 as they try to make a playoff push. The Cowboys fell to 6-1, and their playoff chances fell to 16%. The next game was the Tennessee Titans vs. the Cleveland Browns. The Titans won 31-29, and their record improved to 2-11, and the Browns fell to 3-10. Both rookie quarterbacks played well, Cam Ward on the Titans and Shedeur Sanders on the Browns.
The Seattle Seahawks played the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. Seattle ended up winning 37-9 and improved to 10-3. This Seahawks team is looking dangerous as the playoffs near. The Indianapolis Colts traveled to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars as they were not able to come out with the win and fell to 8-5. The Jaguars won 36-19 and moved to a 9-4 record. The Washington Commanders played the Minnesota Vikings . The Vikings won 31-0 as star quarterback Jayden Daniels went down with an injury. The Cincinnati Bengals played the Buffalo Bills and it was a great game as the Bills took this one 39-34. The Bills improve to 9-4 and are looking very strong. The New Orleans Saints played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints won 24-20 and improved to 3-10 as the Bucs fell to 7-6.
The Pittsburgh Steelers played the Baltimore Ravens in a rivalry matchup. The Steelers won 27-22 and improved to 7-6 and are leading the NFC North. The Miami Dolphins played the New York Jets and the Dolphins won 34-10. The Dolphins improve to 6-0-7 and are hanging on a thread to make that playoff push everyone is worried about. The Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders played a great game but Denver pulled out with the win of 24-17 and have now won a very impressive 11 games in a row. The Los Angeles Rams dominated the Arizona Cardinals and took the win 45-17. They continued to look like a Super Bowl contender behind MVP candidate Matthew Stafford.
Two of the top teams played this weekend and was one to remember. The Green Bay Packers took on the Chicago Bears and beat them 28-21. The Kansas City Chiefs continue to look depressing as the Houston Texans rise beating the Chiefs 20-10. The Philadelphia Eagles look like they fell apart losing to the Los Angeles Chargers behind Jalen Hurts 4 interceptions 19-22. Freshman Nico Kane shared his thoughts on the close races, “The Bills are just looking too dominant and continue to look great as Josh Allen continues to look like Superman out there.”
