At 8:00 p.m. on January 27, 2025, the St. Thomas Aquinas Girls’ Soccer team played their district semifinals game against South Broward High School at the Brian Piccolo Stadium. This was their first game of the playoffs season, ending off the regular season with a record of 13-1-3.
The STA Raiders had a quick game, which ended at halftime, because they mercy ruled the Bulldogs 9-0. They collectively worked together to keep possession of the ball and finish their opportunities on goal, making it impossible for South Broward to keep up.

Addison Zintsmaster was awarded the MVP of the match by the head Coach, Brian Hantak. She was recently moved up to the varsity team from JV and used this game to demonstrate her value as a player, scoring a goal for the team. The team’s accomplishments and hard work will be tested again at district finals on January 30, 2025.
