October 30th brought another exciting day of racing for St. Thomas Aquinas’ Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams. Both Varsity teams competed in a 5k district race through South County Regional Park.
The Girls’ Varsity team crushed the competition, placing first overall with an average time of 20 minutes and 16 seconds for the 5k race and coming out on top as 4A District 7 Champions. Grace Finneran finished on top with a time of 18 minutes and 58 seconds.
St. Thomas’ Boys’ Cross Country team came in third place overall with their average time being 17 minutes and 59 seconds. Leading for St. Thomas, Jeremiah Holassie had the fastest time of 17 minutes and 14 seconds.
As they rounded out the 2024-2025 season, the STA Cross Country teams gave it their all and ended their season strong! Great job Raiders!
