Dear Aquinas,
Lately, I have been feeling burnt out and exhausted. I normally go to bed at a decent time after my 3 hours of baseball practice after school. By the time I get home I don’t have energy for homework and during the day I don’t really have the energy to do anything. What are some ways I can deal with this and some effective strategies that would allow me to overcome it? Thank you!

Dear Jason,
I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with this. Living life as a student athlete is definitely hard to manage. I often hear that students start feeling burnt out or too tired to do anything after their sport. Some ways to deal with this would be to eat better. I know it sounds funny, but your nutrition plays a big role in how you feel. Try changing your diet to eating more whole foods and less snacks and see how you feel then. I think that should do just the trick!
Until the next question,
Aquinas
