Dear Aquinas,

Finals are three weeks away and I need to be prepared. Should I start studying now or do I wait till it gets a little closer? To be honest, I don’t have good time management. I tend to spend a tremendous amount of time on one subject and don’t know how to pace myself for multiple topics/subjects. Help please!

Thank you for reaching out to me. This sure does sound stressful! Finals are always the most overwhelming time of the school year. I think you should definitely start studying now, especially if you struggle with time management. If you start studying now, you can spend more time on each subject to make sure you take in all the information you can. You should look through the material you need to study and focus on what you don’t know. Don’t waste too much time looking over things you already feel confident about. Good luck on your finals!
