FOOTBALL
The post-season momentum continues!
Your Varsity Girls Flag Football team took down Nova once again yesterday in the Regional Quarterfinals with a score of 14 to 6 victory!
The offense was led by Samantha Calaveta, who aired it out for a touchdown pass to Emmi Mehri and showed off her speed by running one in herself.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Raiders were absolutely relentless.
Tyla Mori came up with an amazing, game-changing interception to shift the momentum, and Ro’Neisha Thomas shut down the passing game with an interception of her own.
Meanwhile, the pressure was constant in the backfield as Aimee Coulson racked up a massive 3 sacks on the quarterback!
Huge congratulations to the team on advancing to the next round.
