The 2026 Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, was on Sunday March 15th, 2026 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The Oscars is Hollywood’s biggest red carpet and some of the best looks of 2026. The Oscars have no dress code but everyone follows a theme of Hollywood glamour. There were many elegant gowns, tailored tuxedos, sparkles, and vintage looks. Here are the top five best looks of the night:

Jessie Buckley brought an elegant look to the Academy Awards. She wore a custom Chanel blush-pink and red chiffon gown. She was there for her nomination in Best Actress for her role as Anges in Hamnet where she ultimately took home the award.
Kate Hudson in Giorgio Armani Privè

Kate Hudson wore a beautiful gown designed by Giorgio Armani Privè from the spring/summer collection. Pairing with the dress she wore over 41 carats of rare green diamonds by Garatti, with a 15 carat diamond ring. Kate was nominated for Best Actress in a leading role for her performance in Song Sung Blue but she lost to Jessie Buckley.

Michael B. Jordan in Louis Vuitton
Micheal B. Jordan wore a black officer-collar jacket, silk lined pockets, onyx buttons, and a draped silver chain. During the night, he was awarded Best Actor for his role as twin gangsters Smoke and Stack in the film Sinners. This was his first Oscar nomination and win.
Ji-young Yoo in Carolina Herrera

Ji-young Yoo wore a strapless two tone ballgown with a pale blue bodice and a full navy skirt with a large black bow at the waist. She attended the Academy Awards as a guest but ended up outdressing many famous Hollywood stars.

Elle Fanning walked onto the carpet in a strapless white gown with silver detailing along the full white skirt. She paired it with a vintage Cartier necklace from 1903. She was nominated for her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Rachel Kemp in the Norwegian film Sentimental Value.
