FLAG FOOTBALL
The Saint Thomas Aquinas Varsity Girls Flag Football team delivered another dominant
performance last night, defeating Plantation High School with a 47-0 victory.
On offense, Sam Calavetta threw 6 touchdown passes while Mackenzie Rosonow added to the
tally with a touchdown pass as well.
The receiving corps saw several players record multiple scores: Alyssa Birch, Aimee Colson,
and Maja Varhalmi each hauled in 2 touchdowns. Addison Molina rounded out the scoring with
a touchdown reception.
The defense ensured a clean sheet for the night, stifling every attempt by the Plantation offense:
Stand out players included, Priscilla Gonzalez was a constant presence in the backfield,
recording a massive 3 sacks and Maja Varhalmi secured an interception to flip the field position.
Congratulations to the entire team on a phenomenal team win. Let’s keep this momentum
rolling!

This past Saturday, the Raider Regiment performed at the Davie Orange Blossom Parade in Davie.
The Raider Regiment was the parade winner for the event. The Regiment has won this award 3 times in the past 4 years!

🎶 Exciting News from the Fine Arts Department! 🎶
On Tuesday, March 3rd, two of our choirs represented Saint Thomas Aquinas at the District Concert Music Performance Assessment held at Parkway Middle School.
We are proud to share their outstanding results:
Freshman Choir earned all-around Excellent ratings from all four judges.
STA Chorale, comprised of 79 students from the sophomore, junior, and senior classes, earned all-around Superior ratings and will advance to the State Music Performance Assessment in April.
Congratulations to our students for their dedication, hard work, and musical excellence. Their professionalism and artistry continue to make the STA Fine Arts program proud.

BASEBALL
The varsity baseball team clipped the wings of the Douglas eagles last night with a 7-6 win at Wd Waters field!
Julian Diaz and Brady Gollan provided solid pitching and the defense was clutch for the whole game.
Hunter Mercer had home run punch and Mauricio Clement added two hits with more help from Hayden Robinson, Trace Zalman, Jake Carruthers, and great table setting and lead off situational hitting by Jayden Doverspike.
