The holiday season is the most popular time for people to travel. Usually, people travel during winter break to visit family. During Christmas, people travel based on their preference of either wanting to go somewhere cold and snowy or sunny and tropical. Those who prefer the cold can travel to places like Switzerland, Utah, Colorado, or Canada. Here, you can do things such as sledding, skiing, taste different kinds of food, and even have fun snowball fights with your friends or family. If you prefer a tropical destination for vacation, you can go to Brazil, the Maldives, or even Hawaii. At these locations, you can enjoy some time on the beach, go to a nice dinner on the water, rent out a boat to watch the sunrise or sunset, or swim with dolphins.

In Switzerland, there is the Bo Noë which is a very big Christmas Market in Lausanne. There is a beautiful luxury resort called Saint Moritz in Engadin Valley which has hosted the Winter Olympics twice. In Utah, you could go skiing on many of the slopes they have. Deer Valley, Park City, and Colorado are the most common places people go skiing or snowboarding during the holidays.
Colorado is filled with fun slopes, delicious restaurants, fun local festivals you could attend with your family/friends, and beautiful mountains to go sight seeing or hiking. Something Canada is known for are the Northern lights and the CN Tower. There are many places in Canada where you can go camp out at night and see the Northern Lights.
Instead of traveling to another state or country that’s cold you could go somewhere warm where it might be summer or fall. Beach trips are good during this time of year because other people, especially Floridians mostly travel to colder places.
If you want to do a fun boat trip you could go to Maldives. In the Maldives, you could rent out a boat for as long as you’ll be there and spend your time there instead of staying at a hotel. The ocean animals are beautiful in the Maldives and are known for housing some of the most beautiful marine life and with the very clear water you can see almost everything that’s underwater. If you want to go somewhere that’s not as far, Brazil or Hawaii could be a good place to go. Brazil has beautiful beaches that you could go visit, great food choices that you could try, and if you’re into sight seeing, you could visit Christ the Redeemer. Hawaii is known for having their beautiful mountains. On these mountains there are many beautiful trails where you could see exotic animals, try exotic food, enjoy the beach and weather, and even go ziplining throughout the forest.
