Winter break coming up means it’s time to start curating your perfect vacation. There are many destinations here in the US that can satisfy any wants and needs for your time off. Whether that be a road trip or a long flight, you are sure to be able to find something for you. Some places that could be the right place for you are New York, Hawaii, and Colorado.

New York is the first place to be recommended for a winter break vacation. New York offers many different winter activities that you can enjoy while taking in the festive atmosphere. In New York, you can visit the Rockefeller Tree, go ice skating in Central Park, or take a trip to one of the many museums. New York overall offers some of the best holiday vibes and it’s the perfect place if you want to experience Christmas in a big city.

Another great place to go to during winter break is Hawaii. If you don’t like the cold or want to get away from it, Hawaii is the perfect place to visit. From the great beaches to the beautiful landscape, you definitely won’t regret going to Hawaii. Although it’s warmer in Hawaii, it still offers the Christmas festivities. You can walk around and go to different events like the city lights and the Christmas parade. In agreement, STA freshman Valentine Bernalagree says, “My dream vacation spot would be Hawaii because it’s exotic and different.”

The last place that would be great for winter break would be Colorado. Colorado offers things like its cold weather, light and fluffy snow, and is great for skiing and snowboarding. Skiing and snowboarding is a popular activity to take part in while visiting Colorado and you wouldn’t want to miss it. This is because of its high quality snow, largest ski resorts in the country, and diverse terrain for all levels. There are other things to do while in Colorado like taking a stroll and exploring the Siamese Twins Loop Trail.
