The first weekend of Coachella 2026 has officially ended. The festival lasted from Friday, April 10th through Sunday, April 12th. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s headliner performances!
Sabrina Carpenter: Sabrina Carpenter was the headliner for night one of Coachella 2026. Her performance was on Friday, April 10. Her set opened with an intro video with Sam Elliott playing a cop who pulled her over in a classic film style. She got out of her car in real time and walked onto the stage starting the show with “House Tour.” Carpenter then performed the songs “Taste,” “Busy Woman,” and “Manchild” while dancers dressed as poodles and Dalmatians surrounded her. During her set, she incorporated a dive bar, a recording studio, and even featured a monologue from Susan Sarandon! By the end of the night, she was transported into a Broadway-style cityscape. In terms of songs, she stayed in the Man’s Best Friend and Short n’ Sweet categories. Carpenter’s set came to a close with the songs “Juno,” “Espresso,” and “Goodbye.” Will Ferrell made a guest appearance, crashing the stage as the on-call electrician after the lights went out fixing them just in time for “Juno.” Samuel L. Jackson closed out the song with a voice-over as a “spiritual guide.” She ended the night with “Tears” sitting on a throne that ascended from a car while a water fountain went off below her. Carpenter’s performance came to an official close with her driving off in an old school style car!
Justin Bieber: Justin Bieber headlined night two of Coachella 2026, performing on Saturday, April 11th at the Main Stage. He opened his set with songs from his Swag era, starting with the song “All I Can Take” and continuing with “Speed Demon,” “First Place,” and “Go Baby,” setting the tone for the night. Partly through the set, he brought out The Kid LAROI to perform their hit song “Stay.” He then transitioned to a nostalgic segment, fans down memory lane with older songs that helped define his career today. Unlike other headliners, his performance was less flashy and more stripped-down, featuring snippets of pre-recorded tracks and projected music videos for the audience to sing along. The reason behind this approach was partly due to him not owning the rights to some of his earlier music. He played his most iconic songs such as, “Baby,” “Beauty and a Beat,” “Never Say Never,” and “Confident,” along with some clips of memes before eventually transitioning to the song “Yukon.” Additional guest appearances included Dijon ( “Devotion”), Tems ( “I Think You’re Special”), and Wizkid (“Essense”). He closed the night with”Daisies,” a song dedicated to his wife, Hailey Bieber. Overall, his set was less extravagant than others, mainly focusing on gratitude and serving as a heartfelt “thank you” to his fan’s support.
Karol G: Karol G performed as the third and final headliner for night three of Coachella 2026 on Sunday, April 12. She is the first Latina to headline at Coachella making history. Her set design included a three-story stone cave structure, which is potentially a nod to the diverse caves all throughout Colombia. Before the performance began, a video of Karol G played on the screen of her talking about a girl who had to break through social expectations to find her voice. Once the video ended, Karol G and a team of female dancers popped out with flame jets firing. They opened with the song “Latina Foreva” with a clear intention of all the women creating an empowering atmosphere. Her whole set was very ambitious including numerous costume and setting changes. At one point, she was in a glistening lake and in another, she was riding a giant macaw. Her whole set was an amazing experience with so much spirit and fire in every song and dance. Guest appearances include Angeliq, Becky G, Wisin, and Greg Gonzalez. Karol G ended her set with “Provenza.” As fireworks blew up behind her, she and her team took their final bow!
