The Saint Thomas Aquinas Varsity Girls Flag Football team continued their run last night, defeating Stranahan with a 49-0 victory.
Sam Calavetta, was unstoppable, throwing 7 touchdown passes to lead the Raider attack. The receivers were equally impressive, with multiple playmakers finding the end zone:
Layla Scalisi led the scoring surge with 3 touchdowns.
Alyssa Birch, Emmi Merhi, Addison Molina, and Maja Varhalmi each contributed a touchdown as well.
The defense also had a relentless performance:
Addison Molina and Mekyhla McLemore each secured an interception.
The pass rush was led by Aimee Colson and Priscilla Gonzalez, who both recorded sacks to keep the pressure on all night.

This past weekend our STA Rowing Team raced in Sarasota against 26 teams.
7 of our Girls Boats medaled including:
Gold for our Varsity Quad and Novice Eight
Silver for our Varsity 8, Freshmen Four and
Novice Four and Bronze for our Varsity Double and JV Eight
Our next race is on March 28 in Miami!
