College football just completed Week 4 of 16 in the 2025 season, and so far, the games have not disappointed. Currently, the top ten ranked teams, ordered from No. 10 to No. 1, are: Texas (3-1), Texas A&M (3-0), Florida State (3-0), Oklahoma (4-0), Oregon (4-0), Georgia (3-0), LSU (4-0), Penn State (3-0), Miami FL (4-0), Ohio State (3-0). These rankings will not be the same for long, as Week 5 games are full of intense competition. Right now, there are three games that are at the top of our radar. The most anticipated game of week five is No. 4 Georgia vs. No. 17 Alabama. Why is this the biggest game of Week 5 you may ask? Well, while Alabama is ranked No. 17 after losing to No. 8 Florida State during Week 1, No. 4 Georgia has lost to Alabama their last two seasons. If the undefeated Georgia Bulldogs lose to Alabama again this season, then Alabama will jump up in the rankings and might even make it into the top ten.
Another game to look forward to in Week 5 is Auburn versus No. 9 Texas A&M. Although Auburn is currently not ranked in the top 25, if they win against Texas A&M they might just secure themselves a top 25 ranking. The last game to look out for during Week 5 is No. 4 LSU vs. No. 13 Ole Miss. Both teams remain undefeated with a record of 4-0. Though ranked 9 spots below LSU, Ole Miss’ tough squad will ensure a close game. Even though LSU looks strong, holding the Number 4 spot, LSU has yet to play any top 25 ranked teams this season. This Week 5 schedule is set to be the most exhilarating week so far!
