Winter break is a favorite time of year for many students at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Students enjoy being able to have some time off to travel for vacation. Whether it’s going to the cold and skiing while enjoying hot chocolate, or visiting tropical beaches and drinking smoothies, each family has its own preferences.
Aside from looking forward to Christmas and New Years, students look forward to their travels and family time! Sophomore Havana Norton says, “I plan to stay in Florida for Christmas and travel to Nevada for New Years.” Following her, sophomore Sophie Barnes says, “My whole family will travel to my grandparents’ house to spend Christmas there.” One of the most charming parts of Christmas is its ability to bring together families and friends!
Students at STA have varying suggestions for magical Christmas travel destinations. Sophomore Sophia Rodriguez explains, “I would recommend other students to visit London during winter since it is a beautiful city to walk around and visit new places during this time.” Freshman Camila Ortiz says, “Brazil would be a great place to travel for Christmas because it’s beautiful and so much fun.”
Winter break provides families with the opportunity to explore exciting vacation spots and escape their hectic daily lives! There’s something for everyone, whether you want adventure, warmth, or holiday charm!
