The STA Chorale performed in the Epcot Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theatre located in Bay Lake, Florida. This event was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The Epcot Candlelight would not have been possible without St. Thomas Aquinas’ choir director, Ms. Wanda Drozdovitch. The students spent many days rehearsing with Drozdovitch, in order to prepare for the performance. Their euphonious sounds combined with the stirring story of Christmas retold by a celebrity narrator and massed choir. They were accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets and the Voices of Liberty.
Although it was first started in 1958 at Disneyland, the Candlelight Processional, which kicked off on November 28 and runs through December 30, is now part of Epcot’s annual International Festival of the Holidays. Guests can tour the counties of Epcot, which are set up to resemble a World’s Fair, and sample holiday traditions and foods from around the globe.
Many celebrity guests are scheduled to read the story of Christmas. This includes famous celebrities like Jordan Fisher and Ralph Macchio, as well as Leslie Uggams, who performed in the December 10th Candlelight. Uggams, an actor and singer, was featured in the 2016 movie, Deadpool.

Adrian Moncada, a senior member of STA’s choir, enjoyed the opportunity to perform, “My favorite part was singing with the orchestra and listening to the celebrity narrator.”
During the entertainment, STA’s Chorale was featured in fourteen songs, including: “O Holy Night,” “Hallelujah Chorus,” “Silent Night,” “What Child Is This,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” and “Rejoice With Exceeding Great Joy.”
