On May 18th 2024, the Saint Thomas Aquinas Track and Field team competed in the State Championship. Below are the results. 

Girls

In the 100m, Kelyse Jackson placed 13th with a time of 12:36. In

the 400m, Shanell Morgan placed 11th with a time of 57:47. In the 800m, Grace Finneran earned 13th with a time of 2:17.42. In the 1600m, Grace Finneran also competed, placing  6th with a time of 5:01.78. In the 100m hurdles, Arianna Allen placed 5th with a time of 14:47. Arianna Allen also participated in the 400m hurdles and won with a time of 1:01.43! In the same event, Kelyse Jackson came  in second place with a time of 1:01.63, and Aisha Hane placed 11th with a time of 1:04.12. In the 4×400 the team placed 2nd with a time of 3:48.75.

Boys

In  the 100m, Lee Prince won with  a time of 10:77! In the 200m, Lee Prince followed up his victory  with a 2nd place finish in a time of 21:49, Tavius Horne Jr. finished  12th in a time of 22:03. To wrap it up, the Raider boys 4x800m team finished in 14th  with a time of 8:14.06.
