On April 29th, STA recognized emerging artists as they made commitments to study the perfecting of their craft at the university level with a formal Fine Arts Signing Day event. Amidst the excitement in the world of art, Art Signing Day emerges as a pivotal movement in many artists’ careers. This occasion celebrates the talent and dedication of up-and-coming artists, in cohesion with the athletic signing day. It symbolizes the day where artists formally commit to their craft and enter into the professional world of art. With pens set, Art Signing Day marks the beginning of a new chapter for young artists.
The event commenced with a welcome by Dr. Mulder and prayer and pledge by Sophia Oberhelman. Then Mr. Basi announced the young artists as they signed their commitments.
