The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders faced off against Hollywood Hills in a senior night matchup on October 3, 2025. The Raiders were coming off a bye week, but before that won against the McArthur Mustangs 31-7. On the other hand, the Spartans were coming off a 70-0 loss to McArthur, and were looking for a bounce-back win against the well-known STA team. This game was the Raiders’ Senior night game, meaning all the seniors on the team would meet up with their family and walk out with them as a contribution to their time and their family for the sacrifices that they made for their children. To go along with this celebration, it was a beautiful Friday afternoon. The game started on time this week, and the skies were clear. Both teams were ready and very thrilled to play this game.
The Raiders started the game on the offensive side of the ball, getting all the seniors in the game for the first drive. This eventually led to a touchdown by Virgil Lemons. The Raiders defense held the Spartans to a quick three-and-out, causing the Spartans to punt the ball. Returner Jemiyah Douglas took the punt back for another Raiders’ touchdown. This, however, was not Douglas’ only time in the endzone, as he scored three times in the game. The Raiders’ defense played another great game, and Justice Fitzpatrick had a pick and retured it for a touchdown. There were also a lot of sacks for the Raiders, one coming from Shiloh Dent, and the other from Wyatt Smith. The Raiders continued to get key stops, and on offense, running backs Isaiah Calixte and Kayin Liddie each found the endzone. At the end of the game, the Spartans gave up because they had no momentum, and the game ended in the final score of 63-0.
