Three Fall Treats
The start of the autumn season means new fall flavors to tantalize your palate! These easy fall favorite treats will be sure to get you in the cozy and comforting mood that this chilly season brings. There are flavors like apple and pumpkin in these festive desserts that will bring out the spirit of this autumn season.
Apple Cobbler
An easy old-fashioned dessert!

Ingredients
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
6 large Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ cup water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine 3 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
Layer apples in an ungreased 9×13-inch baking pan, sprinkling each layer with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, egg and baking powder with a fork. Sprinkle over the apples in the baking pan. Lightly sprinkle water over top.
Bake in the preheated oven until the topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes. Your tasty treat is now ready to enjoy!
Pumpkin Muffins
A simple but delicious fall packed treat!

Ingredients
15 ounces pumpkin puree
½ cup salted butter (melted)
¾ light brown sugar (packed)
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon fine sea salt
1 cup mix-ins (optional) (chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, etc.)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin, set aside.
Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, baking powder and sea salt in a small bowl, then set it aside.
Whisk the pumpkin puree and melted butter in a large bowl until smooth.
Add brown sugar and granulated sugar and whisk until the sugars are dissolved.
Then, whisk in eggs and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients mixture and whisk or stir until batter is smooth.
If desired, add mix-ins of choice.
Pour ¼ cup of the pumpkin muffin batter into each well of the muffin tin, and smooth out the top.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are set and a toothpick comes out clean or with a few crumbs.
Let pumpkins muffins cool and then dig in!
Pumpkin Pie Bars
All the fall flavors packed in one sweet treat!

Ingredients
1 can (29 ounces) pumpkin puree
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 package butter recipe golden cake mix (regular size)
1 cup butter (melted)
1 cup chopped pecans
Whipped topping (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and ground nutmeg. Mix until smooth.
Pour into an ungreased 13×9 in baking pan.
Sprinkle with dry cake mix, drizzle butter over top and sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, then cool for 1 hour.
Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight then remove 15 minutes before serving. Cut into bars and if desired, serve with whipped topping. Your bars are ready to enjoy!
