Week four of the 2025 NFL season had everything fans enjoy, close games, blowouts, and a few surprises. Some teams are starting to look like real contenders, while others still have plenty of work to do.
The week started on Thursday night, where the Seattle Seahawks beat the Arizona Cardinals 23-20. In another close game, this time in Dublin, the Pittsburgh Steelers held off the Minnesota Vikings 24-21.
Sunday brought plenty of action. The Atlanta Falcons outscored the Washington Commanders 34-27 in a high-scoring matchup. The New York Giants finally grabbed a win, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 21-18. The Houston Texans shut out the Tennessee Titans 26-0, showing off a strong defense. The Philadelphia Eagles stayed hot, taking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-25.
Several teams pulled away in big victories. The New England Patriots crushed the Carolina Panthers 42-13, while the Buffalo Bills kept rolling with a 31-19 win over the New Orleans Saints. The Detroit Lions stayed sharp, beating the Cleveland Browns 34-10. The Jacksonville Jaguars surprised the San Francisco 49ers, winning 26-21 thanks to a balanced offensive performance.
Other games were much tighter. The Los Angeles Rams edged out the Indianapolis Colts 27-20, and the Chicago Bears slipped past the Las Vegas Raiders 25-24 in one of the closest finishes of the week. The Kansas City Chiefs had a strong showing, taking down the Baltimore Ravens 37-20. The biggest shootout came when the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers tied 40-40, leaving fans in awe.
The week wrapped up with two more results. The Miami Dolphins beat the New York Jets 27-21 in a division-rivalry game, and the Denver Broncos rolled past the Cincinnati Bengals 28-3 with a great defensive performance.
After four weeks, teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and Buffalo Bills look ready to compete at the top, while the Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals, and Carolina Panthers are struggling to find their footing. With week five on the way, the season is starting to heat up even more.
