There have been some stunning transfers this summer in world Soccer. The most notable include Alexander Isak to Liverpool, Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, and Rayan Cherki to Manchester City. These were all major transfers that we will shortly summarize. To start off is Isak, who is a Swedish international and a brilliant striker. Isak came to fame when he joined the Premier league in 2022 as Newcastle United’s main man. After three years at Newcastle, Isak became one of the world’s best strikers, even taking down the Leagues winners,Liverpool. Because of his great performances this summer, Isak neglected going to training and was eager to join Liverpool, and after his rebellion, Liverpool sent an offer. Just like that, Isak is now a player for Liverpool.
The second notable transfer this season is Marcus Rashford to FC Barcelona. Rashford is originally from the English team Manchester United.
The English winger was sent to Barcelona on a loan transfer. Barcelona, often hailed as the best team in the world, was in need of a new forward to add to the team. Currently after a few games in the preseason, Rashford is showing his amazing play style mixed with Barcelona. Many fans are excited to see what there is to see of Rashford in the future. Rashford was excited to leave his former club, Manchester United, after repeated incidents of poor management. Rashford said in an interview that he is very happy to be in Barcelona and wants to win everything with his new club.
