Senior Step Up Week at STA is a fun event that happens during the second-to-last week of school. This year, it occurred from May 19th through the 22nd. The juniors experience a week of memorable events to commemorate their rising to twelfth grade. Throughout the week, there are several themes and activities. On Monday, juniors wore their freshman class shirts. Tuesday was a Hawaiian Luau theme with school uniform pants. Wednesday represented your dream college, and finally, on Thursday, juniors wore their Step Up shirts and crowns. On Thursday, the juniors had a pep rally for their Step Up Day. An STA pep rally is nothing short of school spirit—musical chairs, a cupcake-eating contest, a dance performance, etc. This experience was a notable moment for the juniors.

Mackenzie Broderick said, “My favorite day during Senior Step Up was College Prediction Day. I wore a NOLE shirt because I plan on going to FSU. I enjoyed the pep rally because I got to make quality memories with my best friends before I graduated from the best school in the world. I’m most excited about graduating to move on with the next chapter of my life, and my most memorable part of junior year was making new friends and memories for life.”
