St. Thomas Aquinas High School held its annual Seniors Honor Ceremony last Monday, May 5, it was an event that filled everyone present with pride and inspiration! The program showcased the dedicated graduating Class of 2025 and their unbelievable academic achievement. Many of these remarkable students received an award for graduating *summa cum laude, as well as for every honors society they are members of.
The gymnasium was full of excitement as students, teachers, parents, and classmates gathered to recognize the effort and excellence of the seniors graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas. Many students were recognized for remaining active members of the honors societies, including the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa National Honor Society, National Athletic Honor Society, and many more, in addition to maintaining a dedication to academics.

Principal Dr. Aloma spoke directly to the honorees, stating, “Your dedication and perseverance is readily apparent, and you should feel so proud of what you have accomplished. You have shown academic excellence, service and leadership along your academic journey. We are so proud of you.”
We acknowledged a multitude of students who achieved a special medal for having 500+ Service Hours! This recognizes their commitment to responsibility, not only towards their academics, but also their commitment in service to the community.
“It’s great to see my hard work and dedication rewarded, and I hope it inspires others to keep pushing through and believing in themselves,” senior Alexi Arocho said.
The event concluded with classmates ready and eager to continue to reach for greatness as they enter the next chapter of life. Seniors are preparing for a transition to college, trade schools, or careers, and this ceremony marks a proud time for remembering the successes and achievements of the students’ dedication to excellence in our school.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025 — you made us proud!
