The countdown is on for the biggest night of the year! The Cappies Gala, celebrating the best of high school theater, will be this week on Tuesday, May 20th, at the Broward Center for Performing Arts. The Gala begins at 7:00 PM and is expected to end by 10:00 PM— it will be a night filled with glamour, awards, and celebration.
We are pleased to announce our nominees from St. Thomas Aquinas High School’s theater program! The students have shown amazing talent and even snagged nominations in a variety of categories!
Nominees include:
– Critic Commendee: Broderick Sullivan
– STA Players Commendees: Presley Dean & Sofia Gonzalez-Granda
– Lead Actor in a Male Role:Cole Christianson
– Comic Actor in a Female Role: Avery Patterson
– Supporting Actor in a Female Role: Alexi Arocho
– Critic Team: Lila De Almeida, Broderick Sullivan, Heather Johnson, Gaby Petrey, Joseph Paden, Bailee Seraphine, Elijah Tablan
– Senior Critic: Lila De Almeida

The Gala takes place at the Broward Center for Performing Arts, so it’s an exceptionally special night for students, teachers, and families.
