The ex-finalist BVB now faced the French team Lille in the first leg. It was a close game, with a final score of 1-1, thanks to goals from Adeyami and Haraldsson. The decisive second leg started with an opening goal from Jonathan David, putting Lille up. But in the second half, BVB came out strong, scoring two goals back to back, advancing to the quarter-finals.

Bayern played Leverkusen, and many fans had a prediction that they would win. Many fans were right because Bayern won both legs. English striker Harry Kane scored in the first game in the 9th and 75th minute. Jamal Musiala followed his teammate’s footsteps, scoring in the 54th minute. Bayern won the second leg 2-0 with goals by Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies. This made Bayern Munich the 4th team to follow up in the quarter-finals.
The most-scored game of the tournament is Arsenal vs. PSV. The match started with Arsenal’s J. Timber scoring in the 18th minute. This led the team to put their heart into the game and score nonstop. In the match, Arsenal scored a total of 9 goals. The scorers were Nwaneri 21′, Merino 31′, Ødegaard 47′, 73′, Trossard 48′ Calafiori 85′. The score ended up at 2-2 in the second leg, but this game didn’t matter anymore because the first leg gave the win to Arsenal.
