The 2025 Boys’ Lacrosse season will be underway in just over two months. This year’s team will be led by three senior captains chosen by head coach, Terry Crowley.
First up, Kyan East. Wearing number 18 this season, Kyan is a defensive midfielder/defender who has started for STA Lacrosse for the past three seasons. He is an aggressive defender who takes calculated risks while being able to get back to help his teammates. When asked what his goals were for this season, Kyan said, “One of my goals for the season is to develop not only myself but the others around me to become great leaders and take down every team we face.” According to Coach Crowley, they will face several strong opponents. He is excited about leading the team, taking this role very seriously. “To me being a captain is a responsibility to hold the team and myself accountable and to push everyone to be their very best,” said East. He understands the importance of leading this team, “Being a captain means being not just an example, but also a brother for all of my teammates” He boasts that, “This season we are going to bring more grit and energy than years prior to get that ring and trophy.” He will take this same intensity throughout his season and into his next stop, Stony Brook University ,where he has committed to playing in the 2025-2026 athletic season.
