Madden NFL 25 is a staple of the modern-day gaming world. It’s the gaming world’s connection to the NFL (National Football League). The game was released on August 16, 2024, to Playstation, Xbox, and Microsoft. The game retails at about $70 .  This game will keep you and friends busy, while competing against each other. There are plenty of game modes in Madden 25. Sometimes you and your friends can be on the same team or go against one another. In comparison to its previous editions, Blake Calixte enjoys the smoother interface with less lag. “Madden 25’s graphics are better and there are added game modes, also they added accessories!”

In Game Modes

There are four main game modes: Superstar, Franchise, Online Head-to-Head, and Ultimate Team. The game has a mode for every custom play style that can cater to you. Whether you enjoy managing a team, competing online, or creating a superstar, there’s something for everyone.

Superstar – This game mode is for the solo gamers that want to have a custom NFL career. Here you can make your very own prospect and create your own legacy. Superstar mode also has a game mode called The Yard. Senior, Cam Roberts said he is excited about the yard game mode. He wants to create his player and play other people online, “to dominate them!”  In this mode,  you can use the same player to play backyard football against other players.

Franchise – In Franchise Mode, you have a few different ways to play. You can play as the head coach and control the entire team. You can also be the star player that you created in your Superstar Career Mode. Or you can be the team owner and manage the entire team and even fire your head coach.

Online Head-to-Head – Here you can play many different people in the Player v. Player Mode. There’s no limit to the skill level you go against. You can enjoy your friends’ company from the comfort of your home and also play as duos or trios against other players. Ahamri Stevens, a sophomore at STA, can’t wait to go against his friends. “I’m excited for the new animations and juke moves, and I can’t wait for the one hand catches and crazy animations.”

Ultimate Team – Players can create their own dream team here, similar to Fantasy Football. You can play with the legends in the past or the best players that dominate the NFL today with a goal to dominate your competition.
