With an already impressive record of 29 district titles, 15 regional championships, and 7 Florida state championships, Coach Zielienski has just added another amazing accomplishment under her name. With a great amount of hard-work, commitment, and passion, Dean of STA students and Head Volleyball Coach Lisa Zielinksi has just reached her 900th career volleyball win! The STA community is now coming together to celebrate and give back to all of Coach Zielinksi’s efforts and give her the praise that she deserves!

Coaching for the Saint Thomas Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team for 37 years, Coach Zielinski secured her 900th win this past weekend against the St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs. With a long list of incredible accomplishments from the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Dairy Farmers Florida Coach of the Year, Sun Sentinel, and the Miami Herald, Coach Zielinksi has maintained an impressive reputation.

Even though she already has an impressive record, Coach Zielinski is nowhere near done. These 900 wins are just a hint of what is still to come. The STA student body and faculty have to continue to support and appreciate Coach Zielinski as she has put an immense amount of time, effort, and dedication into her commitment to her beloved sport.
