What was the show like?
For Super Bowl LVIII, Usher put on a spectacular and dynamic halftime show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Usher awed the crowd with his 13-minute show. The show opened with Usher emerging from a crowd of dancers, crooning his hit song “Caught Up.” His set-list also included “U Don’t Have to Call,” “Superstar,” “Love in this Club,” “Ain’t Got You,” “My Boo,” “Confessions Part II,” “Nice & Slow,” “Burn,” “Bad Girl,” “U Got It Bad,” and “OMG.” He closed the show with a rousing performance of his classic hit “Yeah.” Usher also had multiple outfit changes throughout the night, each irresistibly shiny, containing diamonds, platinum, and more.
Who were Usher’s special guests?
This thrilling performance also welcomed some big-named stars. Alicia Keys was first revealed playing a piano in a red bodysuit. She sang “If I Ain’t Got You” and later, “My Boo” with Usher. This memorable duet inspired conversations for weeks to come. The guest-packed performance included additional surprises from: Jermaine Dupri, will.i.am, H.E.R, Lil Jon, and Ludacris.
What did fans think?
Freshman Ashley Foster thought that his performance was “So epic, so amazing.” Her favorite part of the show was Alicia singing on the piano. Freshman Anna Hatzfeld said “Usher’s performance was anything but boring.” She was especially entertained when he was roller skating!
